Hmm...automatic knighthoods for barrister High Court judges, gongs for lawyers in the public service (no doubt to make up for their lack of pay and pensions) and a few grudging minor gongs for solicitors in private practice. One doesn't need to be a Corbynista, to question whether the whole sorry business should be scrapped, and honours confined to Love Island contestants and darts players.
