You would never believe we solicitors employ and pay for the Law Society Gazette yet they seem intent all the time in publishing headlines with the intention of trying to demoralise those in the profession. This one was telling us " Your divorce work is now being taken away by online systems".
It's not going to worry us that some people will take the online step. If it saves them money for that part of the job, so be it. We will more than make up for it when they come back to us because they have divorced the wrong husband/wife on line or because they have sent the papers to the wrong court or because they wanted only a judicial separation but ticked the wrong box and are now divorced.
