At a previous firm of mine one of the fee earners who ought to have been on a TC but was too timid to ask for one (they'd have told her no anyway, abhorrent firm that they are) was on £13,000.00. Working a 50+ hour week with her own files and plenty of advocacy to boot.

Poor lass.
