Anon @00:02 - mate, i once worked with a solicitor who needed a calculator to work out 80% of 200 so don't single out CILEx as "dumbing down". I have always found millennial law graduates in particular to be entitled without merit. "No disrespect" meant but anyone with half a brain can get through a law degree today and get a training contract at a PI factory, that does not mean they are academically superior or competent. CILEx is about merit not entitlement and that is why some solicitors hate it because they have competition in the work place meaning they can't sit back and expect to be worshiped for obtaining a 2:2 from the University of Bangor. No disrespect intended of course.
