My instant reaction to this article is exactly as stated by 04.31. The Law Society is blatantly partisan on this issue to no good effect for its reputation whatsoever. The less it now says, the better.

The sovereign have spoken. The illegal handover of our souls to Brussels is nearly at the point of remedy. Only a No deal Brexit satisfies the referendum result in good time, which was a vote for fundamental and complete change. To extend, ratify May's dodgy deal or otherwise remain in the EU would be a travesty of justice and unlawful in the extreme. It would in no way help the rule of law. The law states that we leave the EU without a deal on 29.03.2019. We have waited long enough and the government and lawyers everywhere have had nearly three years to prepare.

"We are all part of the same profession, and damage to one is damage to all." If the LS cannot stand up for the lawful winners of the referendum; 17.4 million people and a significant proportion of the nations lawyers, then they are without justification of any kind. A few hundred lawyers in the EU will cope - many/all have already registered as lawyers in Ireland. Nowhere does the article suggest access to justice will be denied to anyone. It won't.

There are no sound arguments in favour of the Law Society lobbying against a No deal Brexit. There is no choice to be made or decision to be taken - the British public fulfilled that responsibility on 23.06.2016.
