Really a very stupid thing to do, and to get in the habit of doing just because he got away with it. But in all seriousness, are we actually suggesting that all his years of study, likely student debt, training and working should just be chucked down the pan because of such a stupid mistake?

Surely the SRA could impose sanctions such as a requirement to carry out a certain number of hours of pro bono work instead? I'm quite sure he's already learned from his mistake.

Who benefits from him being struck off? Absolutely nobody.
