However, the same hardly holds true 75 years later, when most are long dead.

In any event, prosecuting another for making comments that were broadcast in another jurisdiction - indeed, were entirely legal in that jurisdiction - is so patently unnecessary for the protection of anything in Germany that the contrary is beyond sensible argument.
