Maybe, post Scott, anyone becoming aware of breaches of the code of conduct, within the firm in which they work, should tender their notice and walk away in silence. Why should they blow a whistle on the firm and the principal perpetrators? They'll get no credit for doing so. No, it must be better to walk away, to deny any knowledge of the wrongdoing and leave the SRA to uncover that (or not, as the case may be). After all, we pay the SRA enough so why should we do its job for it when we know that we'll get no thanks and probably we'll be shafted for so doing!
