I read the Findings in these proceedings and was very sorry for this Trainee. I speak from experience - having been struck off in 1994 as a young solicitor (for dishonesty) but restored to the Roll in 2002. I dare say she would not have received this penalty had she been represented. But having previously immersed myself in the practices of the Tribunal - I would like to think that she could stand a chance of being restored to the Roll once the numerous hurdles and years are overcome. I hope so.
