These problems apply to Deputy District Judges too. I applied for an extension to sit passed my retirement date after being invited to do so. Three months have passed and the decision in respect of myself and others in my predicament has still not been made. This is dispite my constantly receiving, on a daily basis, requests to sit at numerous courts at short notice.

Justice gets slower and slower.
