Guy -I agree. Firstly, I totally disagree with what is essentially an increase in IT by the back door. But I suspect the only reason Labour are getting involved is for vote wins because they are hopefully gearing up for a general election. If Labour was actually in government it would not surprise me if this new stealth tax is something they would champion themselves, the small estates pay nothing and those awful, pesky people who have worked hard to amass a large inheritance for their loved ones should be taxed even harder in death to satisfy the socialists within their electorates.
