Yes, but it's no joke. I thought solicitors might comment (as not even the harshest of journalists do) on the fact that MPs readily shrug off their multiple failures, and learn nothing from them, because they have awarded themselves absolute immunity from responsibility, to prevent the taxpayers from suing them through the Courts, to recover the money forcibly taken from them and then carelessly wasted.
The immunity was OK when it was to stop the king from chopping their heads off, but there is absolutely no reason for it now.
