This is a sad tale.

This chap must’ve been at his wits end by the point at which he, quite properly, disclosed his difficulties to the SRA.

Rather than either of the professional bodies come to his aid (for example, by helping him to find a suitable successor practice), the SRA stick the boot in via a disciplinary sanction.

Really does beg the question as to the relevance of TLS - other than being a rather expensive club with few benefits - when they’re not prepared to lift a finger to help a net contributor of several years standing in his hour of need.
