The review was never going to be actioned in the middle of the Brexit farce. There is no money and there will be no money for publically funded legal services. We are perceived as a luxury and not a necessity. The system is limping along because of our goodwill and governments (of all political hues) know it. The gap between rich and poor continues to widen and nobody in politics gives a damn. We will be the last of the criminal solicitors, as our profession retires or leaves. So last one out turn off the lights because there is nobody behind us.
