Does anyone seriously think they will ever get a conviction on this?

Even if the SDT finds the Solicitor guilty it's obvious that the High Court would quash it, based upon what has been earlier reported as the 'offending' clauses in the agreement.

No-one forced Ms Perkins to sign it, and she had legal advice at the time of signing it from her own Solicitor under the Compromise Agreement Regulations (as then was).



It's difficult not to see this as pretty craven Virtue Signalling by the SRA - all at our practising certificate fees expense...


Knowing how strongly A&O will fight this, it will make the Leigh Day fees look like peanuts.
