When I looked at the figures, the highest percentage of requisitions was over 67% out of a total of 422 applications. There were another 33 with more than 40%. out of a total of almost 23,500 applications. Of course, many of these may be, for example, where the applications says that, say, a DS1 'will follow' and I agree with many that the Land Registry often raises irrelevant requisitions and frequently makes its own mistakes in dealing with applications but I can see little excuse for such high percentages. Is this another result of conveyor belt conveyancing by unqualified staff?
