A few years ago here in North Wales, we had a mega snow dump and even the A5 was under three feet of snow and impassable. Our bookkeeper was a complete star and managed to trudge in to work and open the office, while my wife and I could not get out of the drive.
The point of the story is that we managed to run the office remotely from home for a couple of days. Emails into work were bounced to home. The clients knew about the snow chaos, and were grateful that we were still functioning.

The snow was so deep that it took me 11 hours to clear enough of the drive to get a car onto the road, and then I had to contend with a five foot pile of snow from the snow plough.
