This is actually an issue for a Public Enquiry - and when it is eventually announced in several years' time, remember you heard it here first !
The vehemence of the Post Office Defence to the present proceedings, and the manner in which senior staff closed ranks to prosecute the sub-postmasters, is such that those in the know really ought to change tack and fess up now while there's still a chance. Sadly however it would appear that this whole issue will rumble on until the scandle finally breaks.
