Not fit for purpose. As stated below - takes months to advise of a complaint and then gives a ridiculously short time frame to respond, does not allow for staff being part time or on leave to extend that time frame for any sensible amount of time. Does everything possible to criticise the lawyer. Compounded with the fact that they have no idea of how the legal system works. I spent hours trying to explain to an investigator how the legal aid system works in terms of billing and he never did understand it. Then you make a commercial decision to get rid of it because it is taking hours of your time (unchargeable) and then because you have settled they charge you £400 for the privilege. Disgraceful!
