Anon 15:22. I have not accused you of either being racist, ageist or sexist, nor of directing those 'isms' towards me, merely of using a phrase that has racist, ageist and sexist overtones, and which I could find offensive.

This is one of the problems that I have been trying to highlight. Such an industry has built up around these issues that it is easy to find ways of being offended or of feeling slighted over nothing (even where none was intended) if that is your mindset or experience, or you think that you can cynically use such perception. We need to take a wider perspective.

I'm sure you're a decent chap and that if we met outside of cyberspace, over coffee, wine or a beer, we would find much in common (well at least three things anyway) on which to build a working relationship rather than arguing pointlessly in cyberspace.

We should all work harder at building on shared VALUES rather than dividing and discriminating based on differences in characteristics or traits.
