So true. Thrusting young idiot suits ‘TYIS’ behave like rapacious animals but they are conditioned to do so as the ‘profession’ withers and dies for all the reasons readers of these pages are fully aware. TYIS have admittedly worked hard and spent hard to enter a toxic nasty minded profession only to find the quality of life, income value vs actual work/life are not the creamy sugar coated ginger treat they thought. In other words they climb the greasy poll of associateship, fawning and dumping on colleagues as they go, to find ‘partnership’ is a relentless hell not actually worth the suffering and misery needed to sustain ones place there. So they cut deadwood. Bully, scheme and plot to keep the evil dream alive a little bit longer. This translates in to their brutal childish management style driven by fear and too much American tv as a child. Scared but dangerous animals. Next time you sit round a table in the glass encased gore pit of a partners meeting, look around and spot the TYIS. A dead sharks eye stare. Twitching hands. Young but old face with rictus grin. Polite but utterly insane management drivel pouring from their lips. You know who they are. Is this the life we really want? Go home and grow stuff instead.
