Crime is dead. Everything has been done to make it uneconomical to undertake this work. The RUI scam is simply designed to reduce volumes and has done so. Add to this, the laughable fee structure, aggressive auditing by LAA and the 14 hour rule the picture emerges that Criminal sols and barristers are not wanted.

The problem is that this fact does not appear to have sunk in to the profession. People still do the work and simply bleat on about how crap it is.

If you are willing to be treated like this just get on with it.

Alternatively, move on with your careers in another direction and leave it to those stupid enough to think that if they hang on long enough things will change.

The govt does not think they need you and certainly do not want to pay for you.
