The word bullying is of Protean meaning. I once made a Part 36 offer to a Claimant acting in person. I explained it to her in non-legal language but she rang me and said she didn't understand. So I explained it all again and she said my client must be admitting guilt otherwise there would not be an offer.

I did my level best to explain until she interrupted me and said the offer was an insult and she was going to tell the judge about it at the trial.

So I explained that that could well mean the trial being abandoned at her cost, and that's when she accused me of bullying her.

The truth is that to some people bullying means saying something they don't want to hear and standing by it!
