At the Law Society Art Group’s annual exhibition, five winners have been selected by competition judge, the printmaker Clare Grossman. Grossman’s own work aims ‘to describe movement, the vitality of nature, and beautiful light, her work explores contrasts of solidity, the mysterious substance of shadows, reflections and the surveyance of rhythmical patterns across architectural forms’.

The ‘Most outstanding’ prize was awarded to J Tovey for ‘Fireworks’. Janet Keith won best oil/acrylic for her work ‘Shade’. The Jon Corballis landscape prize, named for the group’s late chair, was won by Linda Zelin for ‘Dedham scene’. Richard Davidson was awarded the Edgar Duchin prize for ‘Chichester Cathedral (Turner’s view)’. There was one three-dimensional prize, won by Jane Hinde for ‘Lovers’ Tryst’.

The exhibition is at Lauderdale House, Highgate, London until 19 June.
