A Luxembourg based global wealth consultancy is to enter the UK legal services market by buying a stake in a legal firm newly licensed as an alternative business structure by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

Oracle Capital Group said today it is setting up a legal department to enable it to offer ‘legal advisory services to support its international client base, many of whom are entrepreneurs and business owners conducting transactions in, or relocating to, the UK’.

The division will be led by Yuliya Andresyuk (pictured) of London firm Y and G Legal.  Andresyuk said it would provide advice in four key areas: corporate and M&A; debt financing; intellectual property protection and corporate immigration.

Andresyuk said that the tie-up with Oracle would bring advantages to both parties: ‘It allows us to tap in to their pool of clients and the sale of shares will give us a financial injection.’ Y and G Legal applied for ABS status in February.  Andresyuk said the process was straightforward: ‘We only had one or two clarifications to make.’

Oracle Capital Group was founded in 2002 and headquartered in Luxembourg. It claims to provide ‘comprehensive, tailored and confidential services for high-net-worth individuals and their families’ and has offices in offices London, Geneva, Nassau, Moscow, Almaty and Limassol. Chairman Martin Graham said: ‘We are thrilled to further expand our offering by adding legal advisory services which will be highly in demand from our international client base who require expert guidance when navigating the UK judicial system.’
