I wonder if Mr Osborne is going to involve himself in reducing these costs so Mr Joe Bloggs off the street has equal access to Magic Circle as he does the high street.

All I have heard over the past few years is that Solicitors need to be more commercial etc... this is commerciality at its best (no criticism) and it is obviously necessary to compete with other hub's.

Funny how the Gov use inner London Solicitors for legal's when they could get it half as cheap in, say, Hull (who also have some very good lawyers might I add) and save the public purse (PII aside). But its easy when your spending someone else's money.
