Obiter was delighted that self-professed ‘new breed of businessman’ Alex Mills survived the initial Apprentice cull last week. The founder of self-styled ‘superbrand’ Dynamo Legal kept a relatively low profile in the first two shows, despite telling one of his teammates to ‘shut up you silly shit’.

Quite how flogging bottles of water and brewing fruity beer will prepare young Alex for a career in legal services, Obiter is not sure, but we did like his understated opening gambit: ‘I’m from Wales.’

Unfortunately, Alex’s business skills have up to now been overshadowed by his chiselled eyebrows, which were mentioned in 11,000 tweets during the first show alone and subject to a feature on Heatworld (a bafflingly popular celebrity site, M’Lud) which photoshopped them on to the faces of other famous people.

One rival candidate has even compared his look to Dracula, which contrasted rather sharply with Alex’s own conviction that he resembles a young Freddie Mercury.

Alex has been on the winning team both times so far, and will hope this run continues on Wednesday when he is required to design flat-pack furniture.
