Registered Charity No: 1075601 (England & Wales).

Bransby Horses is dedicated to improving the lives of horses, ponies, donkeys and mules.

The charity was founded in 1968 by Mr Peter Hunt and celebrated its 50th Anniversary in 2018. Bransby Horses is now one of the UK’s largest equine welfare charities, currently caring for more than 500 equines onsite and in addition, has over 500 equines in loving foster homes. Set in 1400 acres of Lincolnshire countryside, the charity has excellent facilities including a state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit, a Specialist Handling Yard, a Rehoming Barn and a Visitor Centre which is open 362 days of the year.

Bransby Horses is working harder than ever to continue making a positive impact to equines through rescue, rehabilitation, rehoming, and by providing a safe haven for those equines that cannot be rehomed. Bransby Horses is funded entirely by public donations and legacies.
