As the UK’s largest dog welfare charity, Dogs Trust cares for roughly 14,000 stray and abandoned dogs a year through its network of 20 rehoming centres around the UK. We believe that every dog deserves a loving home and work hard to match the right dog with the right owner. We never put down a healthy dog and are working towards a day when all dogs can enjoy a happy life, free from the threat of unnecessary destruction.

Many people wonder “What would happen to my dog if I were to die suddenly, received a life-changing diagnosis or had to go into care?” and this is why Dogs Trust offers the Canine Care Card. It is a special FREE service where we will bring your four-legged friend into our care and look after them for as long as it takes until a responsible, loving new home can be found.

Dogs Trust relies on the generosity of those people who leave legacies and give donations in order to continue its vital work. All of the kind donations we receive help us to provide the highest standard of care possible for every dog who comes through our doors, whether this is veterinary treatment, behavioural training or simply lots of TLC. Every gift is gratefully received and helps more dogs in need.
