London is one of the most influential cities in the world. It is vibrant, diverse, and globally connected. More than 300 languages are spoken here, and people from nearly every nation on earth now call this city home.
Yet, spiritually, London is fragile.
One in two Londoners are unlikely to hear the gospel in any meaningful way. Today, entire neighbourhoods have little to no connection with a local church. Or know someone who can invite them to church. Tragically, it’s in the most deprived communities of London that people are least likely to hear this invitation. Here, Jesus is just another prophet, a myth… or a complete mystery.
London City Mission exists to change that.
We reach out to those who may never hear the good news of Jesus. And we do this through the local church.
Working as a catalyst, we come alongside churches, to encourage, support and equip. Our missionaries support the growth of sustainable, missional teams who are building meaningful, long-term relationships on the margins of their communities.
