Leave a lasting legacy through music

For 15 years, the London Music Fund has removed barriers to musical opportunities for children and young people from low-income backgrounds. Through partnerships with London borough Music Services, schools and arts organisations, we ensure that young people who might otherwise be excluded can access high-quality music education and develop the skills, confidence and aspirations to fulfil their potential in music and beyond.

To date, we have invested more than £5 million into music education across London, Birmingham, and Liverpool. Through our Junior, Intermediate, and Senior Scholarship Programmes, Partnerships and Amplify, we support over 1,000 young musicians each year, helping them access instrumental tuition, ensemble opportunities, mentoring and performance experiences that might otherwise be out of reach.

We believe that every child who demonstrates significant musical ability, enthusiasm and commitment to learning an instrument should be given the opportunity to develop their potential. Music education builds confidence, nurtures creativity, fosters a sense of belonging and opens doors to new opportunities, helping young people grow not only as musicians, but as confident, ambitious and resilient individuals. The benefits are lifelong, enriching families, strengthening communities and contributing to London’s vibrant musical future.

A gift in your Will to the London Music Fund is an investment in future generations of young musicians. Your legacy will enable us to ensure that young people from all backgrounds can continue to access life-changing musical opportunities for years to come.
