We rescue dogs in Romania with the goal of finding their forever loving home through our adoption programme. Additionally, we assist in helping war torn Ukraine to rescue animals that are starving and suffering as a result of human made or natural disaster.
Besides rescuing and rehoming, the most effective and humane solution to control strays is our sterilisation programme. ROLDA pays for the sterilisations of thousands of dogs and cats each year. For every one dog that is sterilised, we are preventing the stray population from growing and thus preventing starvation and suffering.
We help the poor communities who struggle to look after their pets. Plus, we run education campaigns and extend our very limited resources to help rescuers from other cities in Romania.
