About Support Through Court
Every year, thousands of people in the UK face court alone. Often through no choice of their own, they must represent themselves at a moment that could determine the rest of their life.
We stand with those who have nowhere else to turn. We provide a free service across England and Wales, offering support and guidance before, during, and after court. We ensure people facing court are not alone and help them navigate a complex legal system with dignity and self-assurance.
Last year our volunteers supported clients on over 45,000 sessions both face-to-face and via our National Helpline and we want to continue reaching those facing the court system alone.
Leaving a legacy
We want to be here to support people going through court alone for generations to come. We’ll keep supporting those who, often unexpectedly, end up in court. Those about to be evicted. Those at risk of being separated from their children. Those who are struggling with mental ill health. But we need help to ensure we can continue well into the future. Your legacy will ensure no one goes through court alone.
