The Churchill Fellowship enables people from all parts of UK society to learn from the world’s best ideas and innovations, then bring that knowledge home to drive positive change. Since making our first awards in 1966, we have supported nearly 6,000 Fellows to deliver practical solutions to some of the UK’s greatest challenges – from improving mental health in the NHS and reducing carbon footprints through climate action, to enhancing education and skills in underserved communities and transforming local healthcare.
Our Fellows come from every walk of life – nurses, teachers, community leaders, scientists and many others – all united by a shared determination to improve lives. Open to any UK adult citizen, the Fellowship supports people with the potential, passion and purpose to turn their ideas into action. We fund them to connect with world-leading projects and experts around the globe, and to apply what they learn for the benefit of communities across the UK.
