Ellis Transport Services is a specialist transport consultancy that provides guidance, advice and support to the legal profession with services covering the examination of vehicles, investigating vehicle component failures, investigating road traffic accidents and personal injury incidents, tachograph analysis, driver's hours analysis, heavy goods and passenger service vehicle operators licensing and due diligence for road transport business purchases. We are also able to undertake fleet audits in regards to the roadworthiness and suitability of car fleets as well as both goods and passenger vehicles.
The consultancy was formed in 1997 by Graham Ellis, I.Eng MSOE MIRTE CMILT MIMI LCGI, who is a fully qualified automotive engineer with in excess of 40 years' experience in both road transport engineering and operations across the United Kingdom. He has experience of working in British, Scottish and Republic of Ireland jurisdictions at all levels and he also has experience in working across Europe and with a wide range of European partners.
Graham has experience of testing cars, vans, light commercial vehicles, heavy commercial vehicles, buses and coaches gained when he was a Vehicle Examiner for the Department of Transport, either at annual test time, at roadside checks or following road traffic collisions. He also has experience in managing different types of vehicle fleets, including an emergency ambulance service, to achieve maximum vehicle utilisation and high-level customer satisfaction.
The use of associates across the UK allows us to provide a truly nationwide service at reasonable cost to instructing solicitors and barristers. As an aside Graham is also involved in working on research and development projects within the EU and in carrying out vehicle crash testing.
