Repeal of the pedlars acts of 1871 and 1881 and reforms of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1972 will remove ‘unnecessary burdens’ on street traders, the Department for Business, Innovation & Skills said.
The measures will come into force in April 2015.
