International firm HFW has said it is ‘broadening its offering’ to clients by setting up a standalone consultancy business.

The business, HFW Consulting, which among other things will advise on organisational development, public relations and reputation management will by led by HFW’s director of learning and development, Chris O’Callaghan. It will initially target clients in the Middle East, Asia and Australia.

Richard Crump, global senior partner, said broadening client relationships to include consulting services is a natural next step. Earlier this month, City outfit Mishcon de Reya made a similar move when it announced it had created a brand management business.

Chris O’Callaghan, director at HFW Consulting, said the consulting service was launched in response to ’increasing demand from clients’  and that the firm had already been providing ad hoc consulting services to several clients for more than a year.
