International firm Hogan Lovells has kept on 78% of its trainee intake for March, with 25 out of 32 trainees taking on a role at the firm. Of the 32, 31 applied to stay; 27 were offered jobs and 25 accepted.

The most popular division within the firm was the finance group, which will welcome nine trainees. A further 12 trainees will be split between the firm’s corporate group and litigation, arbitration and employment. The other groups are competition, international and intellectual property.

In last year’s spring round the US-headquartered firm made offers to 23 of its cohort of 29 trainees (79%).
