Terrorists and child rapists will no longer be released automatically half-way through their sentence under measures in the Criminal Justice and Courts Act, which received royal assent last week, lord chancellor Chris Grayling announced.
Controversial Judicial Review and Courts Bill has second reading in House of Commons next week.
