International firm Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) says it has received approval to operate in Hong Kong and Singapore following its creation by a merger earlier this year.
Previously, the Hong Kong office operated in association with Haley Ho and Partners. That firm will now come under the BCLP brand in both jurisdictions.
BCLP was set up after partners at Berwin Leighton Paiser and US firm Bryan Cave approved a merger in February this year. The new firm launched in the US and UK in April. In Hong Kong and Singapore the firm will specialise in real estate, energy & infrastructure, litigation & and private wealth asset protection.
Andrew MacGeoch, managing partner of the two East Asia offices, said: ’With increased knowledge and depth globally, we’re in a great position to offer clients an enhanced range of services as they seek advice on increasingly complex international matters. As we grow our Asia business our strategy will be to continue investing in these and other growing sectors, where clients need our support locally, regionally and globally. We look forward to serving our loyal clients as well as new and prospective clients in Asia.’
