Top-45 national law firm Weightmans LLP has welcomed four women to its partnership, in its 2015 promotions to date.

Weightmans has utilised its alternative business structure licence for a subsequent year to promote Sam Airey (pictured), HR director, to fixed-share membership (FSM) status.

Promotions from the legal side of the business include Navdip Wilson, associate, responsible for commercial insurance and local government teams and associate Patricia Grinyer, from the firm’s corporate finance team.

Carole Spiller, an associate in the firm’s corporate dispute resolution team has also been promoted. Weightmans has supported Carole in working flexibly during her career, enabling her to successfully balance her busy workload with personal responsibilities.

Sam Airey said: ‘Weightmans prides itself on its people-focused culture and encourages a healthy work/life balance.

‘As HR director, I am delighted and excited about these promotions as it sends a positive message throughout the firm that we recognise the importance of flexible working. We can clearly see our culture in action with Carole’s promotion.’
