A bit of roughKipping in the reception at Denton Wilde Sapte must seem preferable to the streets of St Albans for social housing finance lawyer Natalie Elphicke (below) who took part in a sponsored sleep-out in St Albans last month to raise money for local homeless projects.
Ms Elphicke raised more than 1,200 from sponsors and the event topped 15,000.
Of course, if City lawyers were sponsored every time they spent a night sleeping away from home and in the office, we wouldn't need the National Lottery.
