Our Christmas card round-up in the last issue (see [2003] Gazette, 19 December, 8) came too early for a couple of excellent contenders.
First, from French firm Gide Loyrette Nouel, comes possibly the most stylish - a clever coming together of London and Paris.
Then from Bristol firm Bevans, which does have a strange obsession with plums, we have possibly the weirdest.
Inside it reads: 'We three plums of orient star wish you the best for 2004.' Make of that what you will.
