And so this is Christmas
City firm Richards Butler took the brave decision to design its Christmas cards in-house this year, allowing it to donate the money saved to the charity Starlight, which provides seriously ill children in hospital with entertainment centres.
Many from within the firm entered the competition, and the winning card - which will be distributed to clients - was drawn by none other than managing partner Roger Parker, who apparently likes nothing more than getting his crayons out.
We are told his billables dropped dramatically in the week he worked on this.
We wish.
Actually, the competition was for children of staff, and this was drawn by five-year-old Dominica Grosvenor, daughter of Anne Grosvenor, a secretary in the corporate finance group.
A card designed by nine-year-old Sarah Nicol, niece of commercial disputes partner Stella Holt, will be sent to staff.
