Athletes raise 13,000

A special award for persuasive technique must go to Helen Skinsley of London firm Masons.

She convinced 42 colleagues to do the Aplastic Anaemia Trust's London to Paris triathlon.

After a six-mile run in London and a 1k swim in the Serpentine in Hyde Park, the team moved to France to complete a 60-mile bike ride from Disneyland, Paris, to Cour Palay and back again.

While Simon Elliott was second overall in the triathlon, the team raised 13,000.
