International firm Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co is to review the legal and ethical issues arising from government plans to introduce driverless cars.

The firm is part of the UK Autodrive consortium, which will trial and demonstrate autonomous technologies in Milton Keynes and Coventry.

The government is to publish a code of practice this spring, business secretary Vince Cable (above) said. Issues needing investigation include civil and criminal liability, data privacy and laws in devolved parts of the UK.
