Clean sheet: After our revelation that Sharon Stone was now working for Pictons in Hertfordshire and that Elvis had joined Welsh firm Leo Abse & Cohen (see [2004] Gazette, 1 April, 14), someone has written in from London firm Alban Gould Baker & Co to tell us that American film star Martin Lawrence is currently resting from acting and putting in the chargeable hours as an assistant solicitor on the Holloway Road.

He has clearly tired of being a 'bad boy' with Will Smith and yearns for the simple pleasures of filling in timesheets.
