Closer integration the goal as CMS announces projects

The seven-firm CMS international network - led by City firm CMS Cameron McKenna - has unveiled a series of initiatives aimed at achieving closer integration.

Plans include common service standards and appointing client relationship partners to manage major cross-border clients, joint IT planning and implementation of systems, and a common visual identity.

CMS has other members in France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.Other measures include creating a Brussels-based EC law office, comprising Belgian, English, Dutch, German and French lawyers; and investing in the development of CMS practice groups in four core areas (corporate, tax, banking and international finance, and real estate and construction).
