I put on my collar, bands and gown but unfortunately was wearing a red dress. The judge told me he could not hear me when I rose to speak, so I raised my voice.
But he said he still could not hear me and one of my fellow solicitors said 'he can't hear you and won't hear you because you are wearing a red dress'.So, much to my consternation, I was sent home to put on a black dress and reappear at court.I eventually obtained my possession order - I wonder if that would happen today.Susan M Burnell, CLM Solicitors, Hungerford, Berkshire
