It took some working out what the PR shot below was all about, especially with the caption 'DWF reaches for the stars', but it was certainly a lot more entertaining than the standard lawyer-in-suit photograph that makes up most of our postbag.

Something to do with celebrity lookalikes, we wondered? Admittedly, Deborah Telford does not make an especially convincing Sherlock Holmes, but full marks for trying, we thought.

In fact, as reported last week, north-west firm Davies Wallis Foyster has bought up Ms Telford's recruitment company to offer clients an 'executive resourcing' service.

But here's a word to the wise, Ms Telford: a pipe and magnifying glass might not be the best way to go about the job.
